To make things worse: I've the original game, and my original disk went fubar (bad quality disk) so I was forced to use a warez version even!

| only_69: There is a second village in the first stage. It should be connected to the exit on the top-left of the map. I'm not sure why it isn't, it could be a bug in the game, or it could be a defect of the cracked version of the game. Could someone who has the original game check whether the bug is present there as well?
In any case, there is another way of getting there: exploiting a bug in the game's collision detection. From the first village, go down to the first screen of the maze. Then run diagonally towards the corner of the wall. If you approach at just the right point, you will walk into the wall. When that happens, go up one screen and then left one screen and you'll end up in the second village.

His version probably has the same thing as that I encountered and the folks of MSX GIDS as well.
Go up on that spot and you can get stuck into a wall and walk through walls !
It might be that the version is buggy or it might be that a specific item is needed and if you don't have it the game reacts buggy on it. I wouldn't rule the last one out in bastards case. Seeing odd behaviour with items befor.
Actually any version I've seen so far on the net has that thing !
So is there a version which allows you to walk straight into village 2 or is a item needed ?

J-War, I am in the middle of Level 2.
Manuel, the original disk of funet does not even boot.
I will continue the quest and after level 4, I will see what happens.

Wolf, I am just thinking if I am going to upload a unique file with all stages or separate stages. And this maps is because of you! You said you didn't like my spectrum converted msx game maps anymore. |

nah, not 'dislike', just more like a push towards larger MSX2 games. The maps are not just handy, but also show the design of the game. And because of that, I'd prefer interesting games.. |

The one from the original_disks has an original and a 'copy protection removed' image. The latter works perfectly.

Does the game eventually get difficult, regarding enemies 'n such?
