I dont think that z380 can decode a mp3 in realtime, but can help a lot with jpgs, png, gif, etc..

yes but remember, msx decodes jpg NOW without help.

@Yum: We alread have the MP3MSX decoder card for the MSX, so why not just using this? (if we are talking about additional support hardware) It's a nice and fully working solution for all MP3s up to 320kbit.

@Prodatron: You're absolutely right, but when I get the change I always want to promote the Z380. I was so stupid to buy that thing years age, hoping my life would never be the same again, but nothing has been programmed for that Fu**ing thing. And since I am not a skilled programmer (I can't program at all, No really, not at all) I try to convince people to start programming and making my investment worthwile. You could say I am somewhat a  Z380 Jehova Witness

Then why not try to do it yourself?It's not an excuse the fact that you do not know to program.You can try to do it.I tried to learn machine code recently,and i managed to write some programs.It is absolutely amazing.Start with basic programs,then move to z80 machine code.
Then you can do what you want because when you know what you are doing you can do what you want.
We no longer live in the 80-90ies where few people knew the secrets of machine code and only magazines existed (really i recall the 80ies with pure nostalgia.The feeling of that 80 era period for me was amazing and it still is).
However internet and search engines and good sites mentioned here can assist you greatly.
I know that you won't be a "prodatron skill programer" anytime soon (prodatron with your achivements you really created new words and definitions to the dictionary!),but it's up to you to learn.
Ii try to convince you to learn to do something with what you have.

Sorry, but my ambitions on MSX don't include learning to program something. My skills are purely artistic (drawing and composing). And beside that, I can't find any time to do that. When I have time to learn something new I am busy learning flash or experimenting with 3D software. So count me out as a programmer.
