Hi.

Every time i fix one problem two new comes

The A1WX top was not compatible, i still hope someone can fix that problem.

No.2 problem, the keyboard from A1WX didn work, now i dont know if thats a mainboard problem or a keyboard-film problem.

Some keys work not all but most of the or maybe 50%

Lucky enough "0" works so i can return to basic.

I just played Space Man bow from froppy, so i almost brough it back to life

But the computer will not boot (or boots very slow) if no floppy disk in the drive.

That might be a nother mis-connected diskdrive. But that is nothing compared to the keyboard problem.

Anyway i can test ?

I think i read in the service manual, how to short cut the keyboard connectors to simulate keys pressed.

If i can do that i can test if its the turbo-r mainboard or the keyboard-film itself.

By the way, i cant find the service manuals anymore they just disapaired from www.

They still on hans-o page but cant be found or no promission etc.

Do you still have the original case of the tR? If so, just move the LED/control panels from the tR case to the WX top. Same goes for the small plastic cover that goes over the lights. (and the front panel while you're at it) Regarding the keyboard; the films tear easily indeed, so be very careful. The keyboard should be compatible though, as should the drive. If your tR won't boot if no disk is inserted the chances are the 'drive ready' signal isn't connected properly and the drive always gives a ready signal, even if there's no disk inserted. See if there's some line on the PCB of the drive which gives off a proper ready signal and connect that to the corresponding pin.
