Hi all,
Is there any library of ready to use (without copyright restrictions, off course) MIDI routines for the Philips Music Module? Where can I find it?

Have a look at this.
(Note: high resolution scans: 14MB download!)
It's a collection of scans from a dutch magazine (MCM) featuring a series on MIDI on the MSX. There should be routines in ASM and BASIC on how to use the MIDI interfaces in the Music Module, Bit2 MIDISaurus, the turboR and the FAC MIDI interface. Especially 56p10.png should be informative... |

Btw, good stuff AuroraMSX, though I can't find any info about MIDISaurus?

Maybe 53p59.png could help you further...

Thanks Poltergeist, obviously I overlooked that part. Would be cool if midi in (especially interrupt driven) info is also available for the MidiSaurus.

Thanks, AuroraMSX!
I had a look at the article, and it seems to have many useful information. The only problem is: I can´t read dutch...
So I´ll probably not be able to learn everything that´s on the article. But the good side is: there´s a lot of code on those pages.

Well, about half of the pages is more like a general introduction into MIDI. The other half is explanatory text to the rountines...
