Definitely artwork from an original packaging.
Here a photo I stole from a japanese blog. You can see both releases of Guardic. I have the blue one, but the red looks better.

More than one release? Finding one copy was difficult enough!
Both the links at the top are from the blue version, mine came with the plain cartridge.

My cartridge came with the blue label, but never seen that plain BW label before.
