Hi, I've been looking for some good Mahjong games after watching Akagi and reading up on the rules on riichi.nl
So Japanese Mahjong aka Reach/Riichi Mahjong.
On generation MSX I found
Konami Mahjong 1
Mahjong Suzume (NSFW but looks like good quality (also good motivation))
I browsed around "you know what site (linking not allowed right)" and I actually found a Konami Mahjong game from 1989
Looks really nice, doesn't it? (you play against Konami characters)
Anyway, does anyone know where I can find some more mahjong games? I am sure years ago I found some in magazine games (Peach up maybe?). |

search again on Generation Msx but type only "mah"

I'm really impressed by Konami's Mahjong 2, Hai no Majutsushi. From the ones I found it's really the best.
It has beginner mode with auto-steal and show everyone's hands.
Smooth play, nice music.
And lots of Rule tweaks I don't understand yet. And lots of different kinds of computer skill levels (I think that's what it is) must be an advanced engine. |
