Hi, i'm looking for the bios disassembly of the msx cassette bios routines.
I know the entry point of those but i cannot follow in bluemsx (for example) the code disassembly in the debugger.
Instead on the entry point i get an illegal z80 opcode. Is this because of bios rom patching?
anyone know where i can get the bios code disassemly for the cassette routines?
Thx, in advance.

AFAIK blueMSX does indeed use BIOS ROM patching to support CAS files directly. You could give openMSX a try (which doesn't do that), with the snapshot of the openMSX debugger. Or, wait until dvik reacts (Or check what HansO wrote.) |
