I remember that back in 1995 or something like that I saw a custom programming language that was specially developped for MSX on my friends computer. IIRC it had compiler for MSX-DOS that compiled .COM files and the name was only 3-letters.
It was delivered with set of programming examples and librarys. One of the examples draw some lines on screen to create a maze and then filled the maze with some color. The fill routine was not very powerfull because it was rotated 45 degrees compared to "normal MSX fill routine". I think the example routine worked on SCREEN 5.
I think that my friend told me that he likes it because it makes quite a fast code, filehandling is easy and you can write also inline assembly if you like.
This is not much to say, but does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about
Please note that I might remember details wrong... this was one time about 13 years ago...

mmm... well, you could -I think- use it if you want a raster-fill.

Maybe they thought it was looking aesthetically pleasing. Some of the characteristics remind me of Logo, but I don't think you're referring to that one.
