Many people around the world have never heard of the MSX. Some, if they need to write about it in an article, newspost, or forum, will try out a few games or quickly look up some info and come up with their opinion or description of the MSX. Expectedly, lots of these are plain silly for the ones that know more

You reminded me people on Metal Gear-related forums that think MG series started on NES and therefore next game in the series should be released on Wii.

Well, this is not related to the MSX but I think that could fit well in this thread... It's a news that has been posted on a Nintendo DS website (ds.qj.net) about a ZX Spectrum emulator:
"Ever wondered how the game consoles of old handled like? [...] we get a second chance to put the Sinclair ZX Spectrum through its paces."
