A dream of mine... That some manufacturer decided to sell a flashcard kit for the MSX (cartridge loader, cartridge and USB cable), so I could upload games from my PC to the cartridge and then play them on the real MSX. Would it be so hard/expensive to do it?

You can get a couple of different flash cards. But I too would like to be able to buy a complete kit so you can do everything on a PC.
I have a working setup with the GameReader, ESE Cartridge and a small tool I wrote to flash the ESE using the gamereader.
Unfortunately my ESE cartridge broke and now I'm stuck with the Padial and MegaFlashromSCC carts. These carts are good but they can't be loaded with the Gamereader because they use AMD flashes that requires random access writes to program and the Gamereader is simply way to slow to do this. The ese could be programmed using sequential writes and then the programming time was less than a second. The AMD based cartridges takes more than an hour to program |

Maybe. Would it be like using a Sunrise GameReader + MegaFlashRom?
-edit: wait, dvik just mention that |

Yeah, very cool device! I still use it a lot!
Btw, off-topic but, do you know where I can get a female msx slot connector (not for the msx reader, but for another project)? |

Nice to hear you use it a lot
I don't know where to find the connector. I got the it from and old ISA slot.
Google shows some results about "card edge connector" "2.54" |
