I have a doubt... When I put the japanese ROM image of MG2, the game is fluid, but when i put the english DSK image, the animation is slower. Has something to do with the translation, the DSK, or I am stupid enough to not found an 50/60Hz configuration?

search the english ROM because DSK files are slowly
emulate the 8k mapper of the cartridge in the 16k page ram is not optimal way for games

What Jipe meant was that the DSK conversion emulates the 8Kb ROM Konami mapper through the use of 16Kb RAM bank mapper of an MSX2, whereas the ROM image uses the real Konami mapper.
That emulation is not the best one and probably causes speed decrease.
You do not need to mess up with the options  |
