Just out of curiosity.... did someone buy some cool MSX gear for low prices on the Dutch streets today?

Nothing! It started to rain cats and dogs after 30 minutes... I only saw some C64, Amiga, Atari 2600, SNES and NES stuff. But, it has been quite bad the last couple of years. It seems that the interesting things are either already sold (taken from the attic) via another flea market or maybe even an internet auction or thrown away already.... |

Only found old PC junk and useless NES-clones... Then again, I may have been too late :/

I've only seen some PC/NES/SNES/N64-junk and one C64 and a lot of Playstation 1 and Megadrives here in Amsterdam.

Well...after more then 10 years without an msx (i destroyed my sanyo mpc-100 ten years ago...with cola) I bought a 2nd hand msx 2...a regular philips 8250...but boy: is it fun again to own an msx...and one that's way better then the one I had!
I paid 10 euro for a computer, keyboard, mouse and an arcade joystick..which is a decent price...
So, I immediately went looking on the internet for still active MSX users... |

Well...it's good to be 'home' again...after all the msx was my first love (not counting the collecovision)....i managed to transfer some .dsk files (i guess most old software is abandonware by now?) to the machine (had to 'repair' the drive first) and my GF got hooked on Collumns and PuyoPuyo...Damn, these games a nice...it seems there's all sorts of hardware around...i'm still trying to figure out what more I can buy for my msx... |

Puyo Puyo is a 360KB single-sided disk. The image file should be 368640 bytes long.
If you have a 737280 bytes file you may need a different tool to make the dump to the physical disk. |

Well... get the Sunrise CompactFlash-IDE interface. You will not regret it |

Puyopoyu transfered perfectly to a real disk...no probs.
A compact flash IDE interface? Wow...MSX isn't dead at all! Haha...
