C-BIOS 0.15
Boukichi started working on his C-BIOS project again. C-BIOS replaces the (copyrighted) MSX BIOS ROM files and can be used with MSX Emulators to run MSX software. Today, version 0.15 was released. In this version some small bugs were fixed once again. People who are running emulators, should really try this alternative.
R-Type Final for PS2
In June 2003 Irem will release R-Type Final for Playstation 2. The game features 3D graphics with 2D gameplay and contains over 50 kinds of planes, among which planes from Rabio Lepus (Rabbit Punch), Mr.
The CGV Tilburg have moved their website to www.cgv-tilburg.nl. Apart from information on the International MSX fair 2003 (which will be held on April 26th) there is information about this user-group and a list of meetings.
Manuel Pazos added a (spanish) manual to the OPF.COM program that is included with the MegaFlashROM cartridges. OPF can also be used for Padial's flash cartridges.
MegaFlashROM cartridges can be used to run (mega)ROM files on MSX computers. With OPF.COM you put a ROM image into the Flash memory.

On the website of Traposoft a remake of the famous Hideo Kojima game SD-Snatcher can be found. SD-Snacher is Konami's MSX-only action-RPG based on the story of Snatcher. Graphics are drawn in Japanese Super-Deformed style (hence the SD).

Pacman Party level 3
From March 6th to March 8th, Micromusic Enschede holds the Pacman Party level 3 festival. This happening is entirely dedicated to 8bit music. During these three days DJ's, VJ's and 3J's (??) will please the audience with the recognizable sound of 8bit computers. Part of the festival will be covered by local radio.
Konami changes logo
The MSX computer system would not have been the same without the Japanese software company Konami. Many of the best games created for MSX contain their famous double-wave logo. Konami celebrates their 30th anniversary with a new logo. They feel it is time for something else...
