Today Bitwise have launched a new MSX website at Over here you can find information on Bitwise, their upcoming hardware and software and several downloads like a small tutorial on how to do a 16x16 rotation and flyers of the TMT_Net and USB Disk interface.

Just like last year, Konami have been giving a lot of attention to Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater on the Tokyo Gameshow. As could be expected, a new trailer of the game was released, showing many aspects of the game and (unlike most previous MGS3 trailers) of the storyline.

On March 9th we announced Konami was working on a Playstation 2 sequel of Contra.

The ever growing retrogaming music archives of Retro PC Game Music have once again been updated. This time, the soundtrack of Microcabin's Illusion City was added.

Ricardo Bittencourt surprises us with Tetrinet, a multiplayer tetris variant, programmed for the MSX1 platform. Next to trying to clear lines as fast as possible, you can also attack your opponent with so called Block Powers. The game itself is only 4kB in size and is completely written in assembly.

We've found quite an interesting project announcement at Grauw's web spot. Grauw had the idea of making MSX-DOS3 (as a kind of successor to ASCII's/Microsoft's MSX-DOS and MSX-DOS2), which would at least be MSX-DOS2 compatible.

MAD, a Japanese composer using GXSCC to give his songs an MSX-feel released 4 new songs, arranged from the arcade games Parodius Da! and Fantasy Zone. You can get them and many other MSX-inspired songs at his website.

Yumimimix by Hackurl

Hackurl has released yet another MSX inspired song: Yumimimix - Yumimi Henshin. It's a PSG-style remix of a BGM of the SEGA CD game Yumimimix. On Hackurl's website you can find many other songs recorded with or inspired by MSX.
