MSX Unleashed

by dvik on 25-02-2006, 00:55
Topic: Software

After eight months of development Daniel Vik and Vincent van Dam are finally ready to release their new megademo for MSX1. The demo, MSX Unleashed contains several effects never seen MSX before on an MSX1, such as 105 color images, horizontal bars and a border scroller.

On February 11th, MSX Vriendenclub Mariënberg organized an MSX user meeting and MSX auction in Mariënberg, the Netherlands. Both Age Lammertsma and Manuel Bilderbeek sent us a photo shoot with pictures taken during this crowded day.

In our previous poll we asked how alive or dead our visitors considered MSX to be. With no less than 113 unique votes cast, these are the results:

  1. still alive (45.13%)
  2. more alive than ever (26.55%)
  3. barely alive (15.04%)
  4. dead (13.27%)

So, there you have it.
