Online PMA to ZIP converter

Adriano has released a great online tool which can convert PMA archives to ZIP archives. In the MSX community, and especially in the BBS scene, PMA has been a popular format to distribute MSX software in. In order to keep the server-load within acceptable limits the converter is limited to two simultaneous sessions.

Adriano released a static binary LHA tool for Linux that also can extract PMA files. Basically, this utility is the LHA-mod made by Maarten ter Huurne, but as this version is a static binary it does not need installation or compilation. Furthermore, this version does not require any hard-to-find dependancies.

A new version of the JAVA MSX emulator JEmu2 was released recently, featuring the following changes and additions:

  • Added noise channel to the AY-3-8910 emulation
  • Fixed VDP emulation bug which affected colors in Konami bootscreens
  • Added the possibility to submit the highscores in 6 games
