It's the last day of the MSXdev'06 competition and the final entries have started to drop in. The 13th entry to the competition comes from Damage X and is called Mecha Taisen on Planet Oldskool. It's a strategy game that comes in a 48kB ROM file.

Alex Wulms has completely restyled his MSX website, MSX Plaza and moved it to a new URL. The website contains, amongst others, an archive of Ikeda's MSX prints, lots of background information and downloads.

Kuniji Ikeda has informed us that he has got several brand new keyboard films for Sony MSX computers in stock. These film cables can be used to replace dirty keyboard films which cause some keys of the keyboard not to function properly anymore. The keyboard films available can be used in SONY HB-F1XD/XDmkII/XDJ/XV (MSX2/2+ computers). The keyboard films are available for 3000 yen ex.

Infinite have announced they have cancelled their upcoming MSXdev'06 entry Title: Unknown. While the last few seconds of MSXDev'05 were enough to submit Universe: Unknown, this year's last second won't be enough.
