Amazing Maze, a game by Jos Hulzink (JHAM), has been added to the MRC downloads section. The game, which was originally made to be a promo for the MSX GG Tilburg, is all about wandering robots who lost their heads, collecting cards, and escape in a space shuttle. All this, in a maze of 25 screens.

In an effort to keep our links section up to date we did a little cleaning today. In total 23 links were removed due to 404s, unreachable servers or removed content while 10 links were updated to their new location or labeled "under construction".

Metalbrain, originating from the ZX Spectrum scene, created a decompressor on Z80 for the Exomizer 2 compression algorithm.

The 1chipMSX information page on the MSX Banzai!, on which we reported some days ago, has been updated with new information for users and programmers.

The new information:

  • A list of locations and descriptions of interesting programs and files on the 1chipMSX CD-ROM
  • Slot layout: which (internal)

Everyone who uses diskdrives might have encountered the highly annyoing situation already where the drive belt simply gave up. French MSX user GuilianSeed has written an article, published at the French website MSX Café, with instructions on how to replace such a belt!

Last month, along with their fresh new website, the Dutch club MSX Vriendengroep Mariënberg have announced their meeting schedule for 2008. Every month a meeting is held in Buurtgebouw De Grendel, W. Hentostraat 17 in Mariënberg (NL).
