Retro PC Game Music have updated their playlists with the soundtracks of two MSX games: Nemesis 1 (Gradius) and Dragon Slayer 4 (Draslefamily). Retro PC Game Music broadcasts video game songs from many platforms like MSX, X68000, PC-8801, PC-9801, X1 and FM77.

Eduardo Robsy Petrus re-released the rare MSX game Vampiro, published by Manhattan Transfer: a well known spanish press group that published two different MSX magazines: MSX CLUB and MSX EXTRA, that later got merged. The creator of the game, J.L.

Sunbug released a new version of their MSX emulator for PocketPC: PocketMSX.

Two months ago MSX Resource Center moved to a new server location, introducing several optimizations, new features and improvements. Today we have performed some more updates.

Earlier this week flyguille released the second version of MNBIOS. At the time we could not report what changes had been made since the previous demo version. As the list of changes is quite impressive and important, we decided to dedicate another post to this promising new (not-backwards-compatible) BIOS for MSX.

Shortly after receiving the 6th nomination for the MSX in the Media Challenge, we can announce the 7th one. Again from the Netherlands, this time MSX was spotted in a local newspaper called 'De Vecht' for Amstel/Rijnstreek on the 24th of June, 2004.

Here it is, the 6th nominee for the MSX in the Media Challenge we started on May 2nd 2004. This time, the Dutch computer magazine PC Consument was nominated. In the July/August 2004 edition, MSX is mentioned in an article about retro gaming, mainly dealing with Commodore 64.

On May 2nd 2004 we started the MSX in the Media Challenge. The objective: to get and/or spot MSX in media like TV programs, Newspapers, Magazines and Websites that usually don't report about MSX. Even though the challenge, which runs for a year, has just started the 5th nominee has already arrived.

On this website a small review of the 20th Anniversary MSXPC can be found. This MSXPC is a computer of which all components (motherboard, harddisk, memory etc.) are fit into the keyboard. The machine comes with an MSX Game Reader and runs MSXPLAYer.
