fMSXFAN v1.48 released
Version 1.48 of fMSXFan MSX-Emulator is out. Version 1.48 is available for both Windows and Linux. Some features of this emulator:
- MSX-Dos2
- Screen 10, 11 and 12
- Interlacing (screen 5 and 7)
- OPLL, PSG, SCC and 1BitPCM (not perfect)
Dutch Delta Soft has translated the first part of the Xak series into English, so finally we can all play the game and even understand what Latok, Pixie and Fray are talking about! According to the Delta Soft Homepage, the translated game will be available at the International MSX Meeting in Tilburg, the 20th of april.
Gilberto Dosvualdo (gilberto.dosvualdo@alcatel.it) reported that he has Yamaha V9958 chips for sale, at $15 each. These chips are the video processor of MSX2+ and MSX Turbo-R computers, so they are used for upgrading MSX2 computers to MSX2+ (the computer BIOS must be replaced too in order to achieve a full upgrade).
FAT 16 v0.09
Without us even noticing it, Okei released version 0.09 of his FAT16 driver. I just tested it on my Sunrise ATA-IDE interface and it seems to work just fine. You can download the patch here

Daniel Caetano released version 0.1.1 of the Snatcher Translation to Portuguese. According to his estimations, about 19% of the game is now translated to Portuguese.
