1st Under Water Challenge entry: Dopefish

Sjoerd Lammertsma of The Darkness God of Destroy sent us the very first entry for the MRC Under Water Challenge. This small demo for MSX2 and Moonsound shows Dopefish, accompanied by a Moonsound song.

Vila Caldan Demo

Julio Lemos and 2 of his friends, Sandro and Leandro, created the Vola Caldam demo in 1993. Their intention was to create a platform game afterwards, however after creating this demo and a few tests for the platform game, they stopped developing software for MSX. All sources of the demo and a test for the platform game engine are still available though.

One of the purposes of the MSX Resource Center is to show the world that MSX is still alive. This is why we sometimes try to get some exposure on websites and magazines that are not directly related to MSX. Often, we get very nice reactions, and every now and then some of the 'old guys' come back to the MSX community, increasing the activity of MSX developments.

BodyHammeR finally got through to his webserver, so his website got the following updates:

* Tilburg 2k4 Realtime Article (download)
* MSX DiskMag List (added MSX Paradise entry)
* MSX Posse (link added)
* general HTML cleanup (maintainance)

Yesterday hispamsx.org was hacked, therefor the site has closed up temporarily. It will take some time until the site goes up again, since the database has to be restored and, of course, the security and main engine have to be improved and updated.

KoetjeMSX website restyled

KoetjeMSX has completely renewed his MSX website. On his website you can find MSX news, some downloads, links, a chat page, a list of upcoming MSX events, a guestbook, information on KoetjeMSX and a view on KoetjeMSX's software collection.

Ever since 1997 Johnson has been creating MSX songs for Syntax's MSX diskmagazine NV. As of today you can download more than 40 MSX songs in BGM, MPK and OPX format from his website.

Misoneko's and Mabu's MSX-FAN tunes

Minesoko and Mabu are two composers who frequently submitted MSX songs to the popular MSX magazine 'MSX Fan' in 1992. Now, they have added 21 songs they once created for MSX Fan in MP3 format to the sounds section of their website.
