Just now, the third round of voting in our quest for the MSX computer with the best design has closed and the fourth round of voting has started. There are only eight MSX computers left that can win this prestigious title, and you can decide which one it's going to be by filling in this votesheet.

Two weeks ago we already announced that the legendary André Ligthart (the AN of ANMA) was to become the main juror of the MRC Bounce Challenge. As of today we are proud to present the second main juror: Martijn Maatjens (the MA of ANMA, also known as Knightram).

More news on the MSXdev'04 competition seems to be coming in by the day, lately. Today the previously released strategy game Stratos was updated.

After more than three years of inactivity the Japanese MSX composer Symray_scopio created two new songs and released them as MP3 on a popular Japanese music website. He created two relatively simple songs to regain the feel of creating music on MSX.

We have just added four pictures to the Miscellaneous photoshoots section, sent by Flyguille, the coder of MNBIOS, on a retro meeting which was held on the 30th of July in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Another freeware production has been added to our downloads section today: LOK, a tool created by Flyguille in the early 90's. The tool allows you to edit your floppy disks on sector-level. In order to get enough free memory to run the tool, you'll need to press CTRL during boot.

Over here you can find an interesting website on which music composers can upload their Gradius (or Gradius related) arrangements and remixes. At the moment there are close to 180 songs online, including some nice MSX remixes in MP3 format. Well worth listening to!

MSXdev'04 entry: Factory infection

Karoshi Corporation have submitted another entry to the MSXdev'04 challenge: Factory infection. The purpose of the game is to keep a virus from spreading in the Karoshi corporation productions by shooting it, using two cannons. Of course, there are a lot of items you are not allowed to shoot.
