MCV reports that Hideo Kojima was in London this week to receive his Guinness World Record certificates, as listed in the Guinness World Record: Gamer’s Edition 2008.

After the first three releases of the Metal Gear Retrospective trailer, part four has been released on gaming website

Gaming website 1up has published an extensive article about the Metal Gear series. The article talks about the history and features of the productions, aided by a wealth of images. The two versions for MSX, Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, also got mentioned.

This annual game contest has so far resulted in tens of new games, all of which work on MSX1, the target computer of the competition.

A new version of fMSX-PSP has been released. New in this version is a bugfix for FMPAC/MSX Music: corrected MSX Music/MSX Audio labeling in System settings - MSX Music now correctly refers to the FM-PAC/YM2413 chip; MSX-Audio refers to the Y8950 chip.

Jan Wilmans and Aaldert Dekker have launched a new website on which they announce the completion of the first batch of Nowind Interfaces. Development of the interface started almost three years ago. After having developed several prototypes development slowed down to a point where it almost stopped.
