There are two bugs in the original game, more exactly in the file DAKAR2.BAS

2130 IFT4THENCOPY(240,192)-255,207),2TO(214,192),0

should be

2130 IFT4THENCOPY(240,192)-(255,207),2TO(214,192),0

and

2240 A=USR3(0):COPY(00,0)-(256,159),1TO(0,0),0:POKE&HD3DC,1:PUTSPRITE16,(0,230):PUTSPRITE7,(240,0),15,8:PUTSPRITE8,(240+AV*3+6*(AV=>S),3*(AV=>S)),15,11:RETURN

should be

If the second bug is without any consequence, it's not the same with the first bug, making the second stage unplayable in the 2 players mode.

I have created an unprotected and bugfixed version, but will share it only if the original coders don't see any problem with the release of this version.

Remark : the bugs are only in the MCCM CDrom edition, not in the DSK available on MRC.

Anyway, the deprotected version has been very useful to create the map with the ending ! Wink
