The easiest way to reinstall Nextor kernel and ROM disk is from recovery.
Just download KERNEL.DAT file, copy it to an EMPTY SD card and select F4 option in recovery. The process should take a few seconds.
Anyway, if you have the same problem perhaps is there something wrong in Nextor or MAPDRV. Tell me the result and I'll report it to Konamiman.
Just checked this. I've updated the kernel.dat from recovery as you suggested, and the issue is happening again. But... I've changed the SD card to a spare one I have here laying around, and the issue do not reproduce with it...
The failing SD is a 4Gb class 10 one, is that right? I could switch to the other 1Gb SD, but my PC does not always detect it so I don't rely on it.
I usually use 2-4GB SD cards. But the cartridge should work with any SD or SDHC up to 32GB.
Do you have problems also writing to any folder in the SD card or only into a mounted DSK?

FANTASTIC IDEA AND WORK! In fact, you are a PSG master in other games and this idea is fantastic!! Thank you very much for your work! Which others konami titles are playing?
In any case, I love the result and other konami -mute- title sure improve with this idea (super cobra, time pilot, billiard, track'n fields, hyper rally, etc...)
