Have you tried the /N option when flashing? With that option, if you don't press a key at boot time, the game won't be executed.

In case someone needs to dump a cartridge, I have added a new feature to Recovery 1.9
Now it is possible to skip a ROM in slot 2 and boot normally without executing the game. It is a hack, so it will not work in computers with slot 1 and 2 not mapped to external slots 1 and 2.

How to install:
OPFXSD RECOVERY.ROM /i34

MegaFlashROM SCC+ SD must be in slot 1 and the cartridge you need to dump in slot 2. Then, enter recovery menu and select "S - Skip ROM in slot 2". The computer should boot without executing the game.

A request: can Nextor, or an Autoexec.bat into the A internal disk, remove the calculation of free disk space?
I'm tired to write RALLOC B: ON each time I go to the Dos prompt...

What version of Nextor are you using? Disk space calculation was improved, and it should not take too much time.

What happens if I flash the cart with a Nextor kernel containing a different driver?
Do I lose access to drive A ?

Depending on the driver you will lose access to ROM disk and SD.

My MGR is working very good, so it's long time I don't make an update.
But does the best choice is to update all firmware's files? (kernel, diskrom, romdisk, recovery, etc.)
And in what sequence?

rom is created, but upon boot, msx keeps resetting, and not a single debug message is displayed on screen.
