Maybe I missed a post, but is it possible to change the config of the megaflashrom, so that the MSX will start in 60Hz in stead of having to change it manually when my multirom.opf is loaded ?
Now I have some games that have the /H60 option in the multirom file, but I would also like the menu itself to be 60Hz.
Is that possible some how ?
Try holding F5 while booting or adding /H60 option when flashing the multiROM.
I did that for the most games, but I was wondering if it was possible to let the multirom menu itself load in 60Hz by default.
So without having to touch any keys, it loads the menu where you can select the games in 60Hz automatically.
Is that possible ?
Yes, adding /H60 when flashing the multirom. (^_^)
OPFXSD whatever.opf /o /h60
Hi everyrone,
I'm new here and also a owner of a MSX Panasonic A1WX which I bought recently. I also got the MegaFlashROM SCC+ SD.
I uploaded and flash many ROMs under Nextor without any issue. Same for disk images except Aleste 2 disk. I tried to launch it via Nextor in different ways (with the Aleste 2 rom, different disk images, etc.).
What I've done with the disk images:
- I renamed the images as follows: aleste2.fd1, aleste2.fd2 and aleste2.fd3 and put the files in my SD card
- Then, on Nextor, I hightlighted aleste2.fd1 and pressed RETURN, which generates the NEXT_DSK.DAT file
- I checked the DAT file to make sure that the registered 3 .dsk files are here and in the right order
- Then, I rebooted the MSX. After rebooting, I got a black screen.
I have no issues when I launched others games which have multiple .dsk. So I guess it's a problem related to Aleste 2 disk images.
Is there someone here who got the same issue? If so, did you fix it? And how?
Thanks in advance for your help
Hi NeoRetro75,
You can also give a try to SofaRunIt to launch your disks.
Heh, how people are mixing up Nextor and Multi Mente...
Hi Louthrax,
I finally figured out myself by applying the patch found on your site on the .dsk files and... it worked. But thanks for your feedback!
Manuel,
Indeed I wrote Nextor but yeah I was thinking about Multi Mente, my bad. I'm discovering the MSX and it can be kind of confusing at the beginning for new users like me.

OPFXSD whatever.opf /o /h60
Does it make a difference if I used /H60 /O, in stead of /O / H60 ?
Because I tried it with /H60 /O a few weeks ago, and that didn't work...
Boretti, you are not the first to mix these up, that's what made me post that.
