Is there a way of writing a disk image into the device, when using MM it creates the files next_disk, i don't know how to bypass this? I end up putting the card in my PC and deleting the file, sorry if this question has already being asked
Do you mean loading a DSK? Just press RETURN on the DSK (or .FD1, .FD2, etc.) Then reset.
To skip the DSK, hold 0 (zero) while booting and/or delete NEXT_DSK.DAT file.
If you want to mount a DSK as a drive, you must use MAPDRV.
Hi Guillian. Is there a way to use the Megaflashrom in a slotexpander and just use it as a flash device? I am trying to do that but OPFXSD does not find the MFR in slot 2-1. Also tried with /S21. Funny thing is that Sofarun does recognize the device and flashes to it but for my game to work I need OPFXSD. Any tips?
I have not tested, but MFR SD will not work in a slot expander. The cartridge itself works as a slot expander.
So you probably can only access its subslot 0 (recovery menu). But its options will not work since it can't access the other subslots.

I tried to update my MFR SCC+ SD with Nextor 2.10 alpha 2 using the rom provided in the Konamiman web page but something went wrong. I tried to use both the recovery installation mode (using the appropriate rom "Nextor-2.1-alpha2.MegaFlashSDSCC.Recovery.ROM") and the opfxsd nextor.rom /I mode (using the "Nextor-2.1-alpha2.MegaFlashSDSCC.ROM" rom). Anyway:after the reboot my machine stuck on a blue screen with the "MegaFlashROM SCC+ SD driver Version 1.2 (c) Manuel Pazos 2013" text. It actually freeze meditating on the meaning of life.
If I revert to the 2.01 version of the kernel (using the recovery mode and the appropriate rom image) my machine return to it's normal behavior. So I don't understand what's wrong with the procedure...
I'd love to install nextor 2.10 aplha 2 on my cart (I really love the new functionalities!), but I really don't know how...

Hi! I actually really like the ability of mapdvr to easily map a .dsk image in a virtual drive. I think it's a 2.10 version only.
Anyway. Thank you very much for your kind suggestion... The kernel was unzipped, of course. It seems that the problem was the microSD: I eventually managed to make it work using a smaller microSD partition (2gb).
MFR SCC+ SD used MM as a default file/programme manager from the built in ROM disk, is there a way to update the ROM disk so it can load SofaRun instead?
