Hi Guys,

Worked with me also! Very happy with that patch!!!!

I have two other issues that I hope could be fixed as well with firmware. On my 55inch TV the bootscreen look excellent, but then the screen shows ugly vertical scanlines...I've tried to use the transistor at the back but it just won't dissapear. Is this somehow removable with a patch as well? It might look nice on a small monitor but certainly not on a big LED tv.

The second issue is that when I turn the computer on with a SD card inserted, I hear 5 clicks..1second between, turning louder with each click. The screen stays black and theres some flashing loading led. When I remove the SD and reset, push the SD card in 2 seconds after reset, everything works great...boots in DOS etc. Annoying part is that I have to remove the SD everytime I reset the computer...Do any of you have this?

1. As already discussed: these VGA modes are intended for the old CRT display only.
The grey vertical lines are very marked on Zemmix Neo vs OCM.
The scanline regulators of Zemmix Neo have introduced an higher impedance over the RGB lines and recuded the luminance of 25%.
However, I think you could use the WIDE LCD TV wiht a SCART RGB 15KHz cable.

2. The first file of SD-CARD should be an SDBIOS or a file without the 'AB' marker.
If you copy as first file a game ROM then the Zemmix Neo or OCM will hang!!
The multiple click are audible only when there is a long time reset or the device has the hang at boot.
However, if the problem is not this, you can try with another brand/model of SD-CARD.
The max format is 2GB FAT16 but you could try 1GB or less.

Well, I formatted a few SD cards FAT16, but the Zemmix won't boot with any of them inserted, even when they are empty or only contain command2.com and msxdos.sys.

It's is normal for the stock firmware of Zemmix Neo Lite
it works only with the OCM-SDBIOS as first file of SD-CARD.

Could you read the previous posts of this thread?

I updated to the emsx_top.pld I used to get rid of the beep, I thought that to be the latest firmware..
But I will request the OCM-SDBIOS and try that.
