Hi again guys
Just a few hours ago I tested the membranes...
Well, membranes still doen't work properly, its too random, and my patience is out. Its their fault.
I have called the sales manager, and he is agree with me.

Time for plan B. I'm not going to pay 50€ for these membranes, and you all neither. Now, all those who reserved a membrane has two options:
A) I return them the money and gameover, sorry.
B) Those membranes can work properly with the "tape" patch I did explain months ago. But, paying 50€ for a membrane and having to patch it to make it work its not fair. The sales manager says so too. So, all those still interested on the membranes must make an offer. I will calculate the average of all the offers, and I will call again to the sales manager to say him how much people will pay for those membranes. If they are agree, we will purchase the membranes you want, and finish.
I told them that, of course, there will be people that won't choose option B, and they accept it.

Well, what do you think about it? What do you choose? A? B? let me know on this forum and also mail, please, so I will have all the answers organized.

I would like to thank you for your patience as well, but it is certainly a choice to think about now whether I should just go with a refund or get the membrane as it is. In your tests, how many keys generally were not working with the membrane's being tested? And while I remember you mentioning the tape trick, do you think you might run through that process again for us?

I mean if it's only a few keys that might need a bit more TLC to play with to get working properly, I don't really see there being an issue for me.

If the process is really complicated to get to work with a tape trick though, then I'm not sure.

Pity to find out that Panasonic made something 25 years ago which can't be easily copied in modern days.
You and the factory took your time and you guys and we were patient (a matter of trust ). Your effort is highly appreciated.

But I won't go for a membrane which needs patching as I still have two donors lying around. I've to be counted out.

The general idea was great and we all would have liked the plan to succeed.
But for me, i go for option A, Money back and quit.
Maybe one day there will be someone who takes up the challenge to make some new membranes and will succeed.
