Romload worked like a charm. Tested it with Metal Gear 2. But it did detect the 1024kb SCC of the Zemmix as 512kb. Looking at the TNI website it looks like they have made it for the ESE 512kb SCC.
Eagerly awaiting the next release ;)
Wow, nice clean & modern MSX setup !
I'm back on SofaRun, trying to have ROMLOAD integrated for the Christmas release. The 512KB limitation is not a big problem (just a few games are concerned), and it should be an easy fix for TNI. The main coding remaing is for SofaRun to know in which slot the MegaRAM is located for full Game Master & other options support (and be sure that ROMLOAD uses the same slot...).
Niceeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
Wow, that's great news Louthrax! How about an option to specify the slot in the settings file? OCM/Zemmix users can choose which slot the MegaRam is in with a dip switch.
Louthrax: Did you get my email yesterday? About the SCC / flash slot conflict.
Louthrax: Did you get my email yesterday? About the SCC / flash slot conflict.
Yes, but for some reasons I got it only this morning.
Let me quote you so that the answer is available to everyone :
I tested PSG to SCC, and get this message: «SCC & flash device slots conflict!»
Maybe this block should be removed when using the ESE since those slots are infact the same
The "PSG to SCC" does not work on the same SCC slot as the flashed game. That's because I need to "set a page" on the SCC cartridge in order to play sounds with it, and there's no way to restore that page to the one the flashed game is using. You can either plug an extra SCC cartridge, or play the game in RAM (<64KB roms and disabling the "Force flash" option). Maybe I need to add some detilas in the documentation about that.
Algorythms, please update your SofaRun version to the lastest one, I fixed some bugs in the release candidate I sent you.
Ok, thumbs up! Do you plan on supporting long filenames for non-zipped games?
Not sure if that will see the light, it requires some changes in Nextor, can't do that alone!
Another little bug when we forget the cartridge and press the cursor keys:
