Ever tried to enter a Maze of Gallious password using the 8010? That´s discrete.
Do you have the German keyboard on top of that? With the french keyboard we had to convert the characters (the keys were hard-coded!) Not sure if that was in the game documentation, but I remember that was driving me crazy at "invocation time" for the bosses, before I knew the character-conversion trick!

Never really played games on the vg8000 because i was playing with nextor and sd512 on it, but now i know what you mean. X = 1 on Konami games etc. Is the keyboard not mapped on MSX standard and corrected in the bios? What was the reason for this "bug", lazy pcb routing?
