it may even be possible to port the ese3/1ChipMSX core to it Smile (Though I dont know the size of the fpga used)
Next was originally designed to use the XC6SLX9 FPGA, but the success in KickStart made the team to expand it to use the XC6SLX16, which is slightly stronger in many specs than 1ChipMSX's Altera EP1C12Q240C8N. So... porting may be possible!

Main challenge will be to produce a super-cool MSX casing with a real keyboard, cartridges and joystick ports. And nice little leds! Imagine the success if that could be mass-produced with a reasonable price
2nd joystick port to be added - all stretch goals achieved with 4 hours to go.
Onboard RAM is a bit on the small side though even with extra chips added. But should be plenty for a basic MSX(2) core.
