It works fine on BlueMsx.
I think it will work well on OpenMsx too.

When using the cassette file, use the poke and shift while booting. Or a simple machine like indeed the Toshiba HX-10.

It removes the disk bios, so you have as much free memory available as possible.
The version on msx1mania disk 19 seems to work on a 8250 in openmsx.
Only thing is the intro picture gets scrambled.
Have you tried this version?
