Can you retry the ROM dump of the original Toshiba?
In his first post, he said he erased the original EPROM after dumping it...
One word of advice to whoever goes in the same situation: never, ever, erase original EPROMs or disks. New replacements are cheap, so it's not worth it. Just buy new EPROMs or disks and keep the originals so some expert can at least try to recover the original contents.
I hope the rom that sends me BasDitta recorded in an eprom works well in my disk drive.
I leave here the original rom Toshiba HX-F101.

Is that the dump you had originally taken, that is corrupt? If so it is better to remove it.
No, this rom is good, taken from another floppy disk that I have acquired.
Now I have two totally functional disk drives. :-)
And just to confirm, this is from another HX-F101PE model?
Indeed, same question as rderooy here.
This ROM does contain some funny texts which did not seem to occur in the corrupt ROM:
Producted by TOSHIBA CORPORATION.Program --- by Yasuo Shimizu ( HS dev. HSA group ) TSDFDD00104Apr85
If accurate, this rom is taken out of another floppy disk drive that I bought. This rom is fine and it works. With this rom I have already fixed the floppy drives.
Yes, but which exact floppy disk drive was that?
The two disk drives are Toshiba HX-F101PE.
Can you upload the ROM to the MSX-Wiki ?.
