Mariënberg - The MSX Friends Club Mariënberg (M.V.M.) is organising a club day with MSX auction. If you hadn't heard about it yet - the MSX is a Retro computer. Right now, retro computers are becoming increasingly popular, either to collect or to play with. In the great Dutch provence of Overijssel, a retro day for MSX computers is organised monthly in the pittoresque town of Mariënberg. The M.V.M. Computer Club is the largest in the Netherlands. The club is very active with this old MSX computer. Saturday 11 February 2023, there will be a bonus activity, namely an MSX auction.

This annual auction attracts many collectors and users from all over the country every year. Even people who do not want to throw away their old computer, because of fond memories, take the items to ensure that the computer ends up in a good place. The sale is by auction, and is not aimed at boosting club coffers. The auction is more about saving hardware and software from the last century from the dustbin. And this is where people flock in dozens. From far and wide. If you have surplus MSX material or are looking for bargains, a visit to the club is definitely worthwhile. The MSX Friends Club Mariënberg (M.V.M.) has existed for more than 25 years and it organises a club day every second Saturday of the month in community centre 'De Grendel' on Wicher Hentostraat 17 in Mariënberg. Admission is free. On these days, all the old MSX computers come out again and old times revive. Many visitors, from young to old, therefore know how to find this place. These computer freaks just can't say goodbye to their MSX computers. They rightly call themselves the friends club of MSX,

The club day starts at 10.00 am. From 11am, you can hand in your stuff. Everyone can now quietly look at the items. The auction itself will start around 1pm. The proceeds will be entirely for the seller. There is more information on our website.
