@MSX restarter the answer is No .
(1)Look matra doesnot sell separate carts even it should fit
(2)Besides that they are even thinner than the sunrise/msx cartshop (pazos) carts.
So let see if erikie finds a solution -although-realising would be though. And rtealising such a thing after design ...

To be clear, to fit the SD v2.2 in a sunrise casing I have to completely re-design the PCB layout. It needs to be much wider as the back of the casing comes toward the PCB. So there is no way I can fit an SD socket over there. The Flashrom might be possible but will be hard. I am looking into possible solutions with other people to see if we can do something about using other cases. To be continued.
In the mean time I hope that all new owners of the interface hare happy Smile

Surnise: I may have known that, but I just forgot. I just know that there are two separate cartridge cases being made, one by you and one in Spain (I guess that's Manuel Pazos then). I didn't know exactly how things were, I just knew there were alternatives to your case and that Matra or Manuel Pazos would definitely know more about them. That's why I mentioned them.

It's a bit unclear to me actually: you said that Koei case is made by both you and Manuel Pazos? (I didn't know/remember that, I thought they were made just by you...) What about the case in which the Mega Flash ROM SCC is shipped? That's not a Koei case, and as far as I know, it was made also by Manuel Pazos. So, he has two designs?

(Too bad that both won't fit that SD interface, indeed. Next time, people should take those restrictions into account Smile)

Good that the mechanical interface is well documented in drawing.......Crying

Maybe I should make some 2D techincal drawing in .pdf format...., are thare 3D CAD files available to make these? How was the geometry specified to make the now existing moulds, does anyone know?

Or do PCB designers use .dwg / .dxf or other universal/neutral vector format for exchanging this type of information?

(I might know a bit about plastics and 3D CAD...)

The same happened with first versions of Padial's design for SD/MMC reader as they were made as konami cartridges (the wholes are not in the same place).

For your information, the cases by Manuel/Sunrise are the same design since they were made when Manbow2 was for sale. MegaFlash/Caos Begins/Imanok games/AAM Compilations/Kralizec games/MSXKun games/*.* all of them have the same design.

Saeba: so, yes, there are 2 designs (my MegaFlash cart is definitely different from my Manbow 2 cart). But who made them exactly?

Well I can tell you that my mega flashrom has exactly the same casing as the the one I got from sunrise.
If you want I can take a picture of it

There are most likely two types of megaflashcarts
The first one and also I have one has megaflashrom on its label.
The current have another label as I see it
