If we buy this collection: http://www.msx.org/forumtopicl9977.html we have enough cases to built in the SD interface ;)
maybe a bit too expensive for just the casings :-)
(in dutch it says that you must offer at least 2000 euros, but I'm not interested: RC768 is not there....)
it would be cool to make other fake labels (of e.g. solid snake or space manbow) for the SD/MMC
Today I received a 'donor cart' from Casio. This casing has no pegs so I am glueing some holders myself. Also it has screws so the casing stays in one piece. When I am ready I will post some pics
What are the current options/prices btw?
Also, are you interested in showing others at a fair/meeting (such as Bussum) how you make one? I'd be interested in that
Current price is 35 euros without casing. Still working on a casing and if I can make it fit: complete in casing 42 euros.
Both in full working condition and with 2 SD slots.
I still have 1 v1.0 left with SCC chip but without casing. One can be obtained from sunrise though. This needs the big casing.
Price is 35 euros.
About Bussum, when is that fair? If I have time and my wife has no problems (have 3 kids) then I could come off course. I can bring a couple of them assembled and I can assemble a few over there. No problem. It only takes < 30 minutes to put one together.
And last but not least I can also show how it works
Are there any objections in using old Casio carts? As I have the interface now in this casing and it works out in the end.
Will post pics tomorrow.
Grauw, the organiser, is currently on holiday; I'll poke him about the details when he gets back. Most likely it will be in September again.
The v2.2 is without SCC, right?
Indeed v2.2 has no SCC and has a very small footprint.
PCB inside Casio casing:
Seems like a good solution for those who want it delivered complete with a case
Here's my DIY casing:
I bended the LED's to the front to solve the problem with the length of the legs.
