Erikie, do you have any design files available for your CPLD-based v2.2 ? I'm talking about:
* sourcecode used for programming the CPLD (VHDL or Verilog code? captured schematic?)
* schematic (for an easy reference what connects to what)
* PCB layout, for eg. some plain .gif or .png files or close-up photo's of empty PCB, so that you can check how traces are routed even after components are on the board
* up-to-date driver source code (for what's programmed in the flash ROM)
All I can find is the MMC drive archive on Hans Otten's site, but it looks like contents refers to Sharksym's design using SCC and 74xx chips, not this CPLD-based version. I am regarding this as a pretty much open, 'community-developed' design, but if these source codes etc. aren't available, then it's more a black box based on an open design. If you want I can volunteer some webspace to keep everything in one place.
In due time I can publish my design files however I have no source code of the roms. I wish I had source code then it was easy to make sub slots working.
The pics look great!
But I think we need to do a design contest: who makes the coolest label for his MMC/SD cart...
hey, what does that switch do?
I don't think I have it on my V1...
You never wanted it on your version . It is for disabling the rom. If you flash the memory with a game you then can switch of the flash memory to re-flash it. So you don't have to hot-insert your cart. Otherwise the game will keep on starting and you are not able to flash any more
Ok, that's right, I've got some other hw just for flashing....
Erikie ,
do you have any SD V1 or V2.2 left to be sold , with or without casing ( i have a spare empty case ) ?
Hi Leo, I have multiple v2.2 and only 1 v1.0 left
The v1.0 needs a large case (sunrise CF casing) and the v2.2 fits the konami casing perfect.
without casing 35 euros excl shipping but you better send an email: evanson (at) quicknet nl

For the one who wants the version 1.0 ; Mail me for the case !!!
I've emailed you about details; but, meanwhile, can you make some quickie resume of this piece of hardware?, it's getting hard to collect data along the thread...
