I ran the page from sharksym through google translator and found out that he is working on a new bios. It is not finished yet.

For those who cannot read Korean (like my self)
interesting, let's hope it will be finished soon.

First version of the FAQ is online. Have a look here: http://members.quicknet.nl/evanson/Page/MMC/faq.html
SD v1 with SCC received ! thx , and now the sunrise casing
Good to hear, do you like the SMD dac on it? it works pretty well and is very tiny.
Hope you enjoy it!
Yep i saw it : only cms resitors , must have been a hell to sold especially those two on the slice !!
...
Question : the mmc init allows me to pick one size of SD up to 256mb , would it work with a 1gb
but using only first 256mb of course .
...
It works exactly as you think. I use 2Gb cards with only 256. Hope that sharksym releases his new bios soon then we can use full capacity up to 2Gb
Soldering was quite easy. The cpld is harder to do
Does every SD interface come with a SCC? And what is the price for one with SCC?
The SD v2.2 has no SCC chip included. Sinfox is selling v2.2 with SCC chip.
I have a version 1.0 with SCC but we need to butcher old games for SCC chips or find another source for the SCC chips.
Or I can make one from an old konami cart using a small cpld to make a new one.
If you can supply a donor cart then I can turn that one into at least v1.0 and maybe into v2.x also.
Need to look into that again
Well I have a broken Solid Snake. I think the SCC is still in working order. Is the pcb of the 2.2 version prepared to solder a SCC in it?
