Yup, something like that. Soms could make an msx1 version, others an msx 2+ one. Some stay close to the original, others merely use it as inspiration and give it a nice twist... Just thinking here...

I already made my entry... it's called J.E.T.P.A.C. ;-P

I'd love a version for the screen 5

My favourite game on TI-99/4A! :) It´s simplicity makes it perfect!

Allright.

I know it's 2 years too late, and that no one cares anymore about that crappy game ... But after 2 years of standby, I've given a last pull, and managed to finish my own version of Flappy Bird, which I find (but I might be biased !) closer to the original version and more playable than what I'd seen at the time on the MSX.

I'm not looking for anything in return. For me it has been a small but powerful exercise. I wanted to learn how to use the hybrid mode, make a 1-px smooth scrolling (yes !), and make sound effects in a game (actually, I've written a small replayer). I've made it, and I'm happy.

It could do with a little bit more polishing (day/night background, flying wings sound effect, ...) but, hey, it's only Flappy Bird, and no one cares about it anymore. I prefer to do some polishing on future projects that are worthy of it.

And I've learned something. Sometimes you drop a project when you're almost there, and that's stupid. It took me less than 2 hours of coding to pick up where I left it in 2014, and finish that thing ...

I'll submit the download, right after this.
