MSX2 SCREEN 5 smooth scroll and hardware sprites support.

ARROW KEY - Scroll 8 direction
SPACE - Toggle display page (2 and 3)
1 - Show swap page (3)
2 - Show pattern page (0)
3 - Show map and software sprites page (1)
F1 - Redraw current screen
F2 - Reset map position to origin

Next station:
- Improve speed
- Software sprites support
- Fast scroll (2px, 4px, 8px)

DQ2 characters and map are use for test only.

I developing a hobby game, ha ha ha.

Maybe Adventure Quest game is it. I try to develop in many platform. (Windows/Linux/Android and MSX)

It's amazing but for use in difference game style.

I want to make a game in fullscreen like DQ2 with 8 direction smooth scrolls.
No need many color, need more pattern, more map and more sprites to display.

This is interesting to be compared as well, Total Parody with parallax

The scrolling goes at 1 pixel per frame in 8 directions, anyway the engine supports only HW sprites, because the vdp is devoted to refresh the background at about 4 frames per second
