With Haohmaru (Sjoerd) planning to leave the MSXdev team next month, the team is left one-manned: mars2000 (Benoit). After the fiasco of the 2nd PassionMSX2 contest (7 months and still no mention of any prize or conclusion), I personally would not trust a one-manned organization if it's going that way.

Now don't get me wrong, I like mars2000's love for MSX journalism and am certainly not suggesting him to leave the MSXdev team. But if it was up to me, I'd love to see some Spanish blood on the MSXdev team again.

Then again, the most important aspect of such a contest is communication. Any single person can receive emails with submissions and sponsors and update a Wordpress website, don't need a team for that. Jury is the only aspect where multiple persons are desired, but even that could be managed by one person, and in a way, a jury could be considered not a part of the core team.

Sure, it's doable for 1 guy, but like I said, I don't trust him to become the sole man on the team.
(no hard feelings mars2000, assuming you still read this forum)

Organizing the MSXdev (or being part of the team), is a hard task. You must receive game entries, check if everything's ok or ask for missing things, update the website (time consuming!), promote and spread the contest itself (time consuming again!), define the jury, stay awake the last night to post the entries (well, that part is funny), take all juror's results and mix them for the final results, etc. When I was there I had a lot of MSXdev work, believe me!
