Hey everyone,

I've loved MSX and its games for about 20 years now, and this summer (with a lot more spare time) I've started a retro gaming blog to write about the games I've been playing. I've already covered two MSX games and I can say for certain there will be many more.

If anyone is interested to read, I've already covered Penguin Adventure and Ys III: Wanderers From Ys

I'd welcome any feedback you have - feel free to leave a comment on the blog - and if you'd like to follow for more, there's a twitter account here.

(Mod-edit: fixed the BBCode for the last blog link)

Nice. I like the screen shots off the PVM personally.

Thank you. I'm always a bit unsure about whether to use off-screen photos or direct screenshots, but I do think the CRT photos can give the blog a unique look.

Thank you! I definitely intend to cover more MSX games in the future - in particular I have a nice collection of titles by Konami and Falcom - so I'll post in this thread whenever I have something new to share.

Covered a classic... The MSX version of Nemesis and how receiving it for Christmas last year changed my life in some small but important ways. https://gamesfromtheblackhole.wordpress.com/2020/12/27/nemesis/

Nice review. Maybe you can add links to the versions that can be played online @ file-hunter.com? Both the original and enhanced versions? Then people can have a go at the game straight away.

Thanks Kaladron, I really appreciate you articles. It's not so common to have well-written and "with feelings" writings related to our favorite games and platform. I also like the real screenshots instead of emulator captures.

MSX is also very related to Christmas for me, I received Metal Gear for the 88's Chrismtas, and my neighbour (and still best friend today) received Nemesis 2 and Penguin Adventure. We just had Videopac consoles before that, it was a real shock and amazing holidays Smile

Thanks for the compliments. And wow! Those are quite some Christmas presents you and your neighbour got there. I'm assuming you didn't grow up in the UK with MSX being so popular.
