Does anyone know if there is any new Japanese software production (games, utilities or demos) for MSX? I did not find anything about it on Google. I searched the forum, and also found nothing. Thanks. Smile

Which did you mean, software treating Japanese language, or software by a Japanese MSXer?

I'm living in Japan, and there will be a Japanese Lanugage release of ChibiAkumas... but I'm English... so count that however you want!

TPMCO SOFT WORKS is still working on finishing and releasing the original MSX version of "Tarotica Voo Doo," which he recently released on Steam. Apparently, he plans to release the MSX version as soon as he's able to write up a nice official manual for it, create packaging, etc.

Here's a link to the Steam version of the game:

Also Tulip House recently rereleased an MSX game he produced in his high school days called "ILEVAN," which is sold out at the moment but will probably be restocked sometime soon if you keep an eye on the website. It's a really cool game, and the packaging is the most unique I've ever seen (he turned a plastic cassette case into a cartridge!). Check it out:

Nice game, still no screenshots of the MSX2 version. I hope it won't be far away from the X68000 one.

Yes, it's fun and straight to the point. Great gameplay.
