I'm wondering if is possible to build an interface between PC and MSX that works in similar way to C64HDD and SIO2PC (let use the PC hard disk as a virtual huge floppy drive for MSX)

just use any SCSI or IDE interface to connect your MSX directly to a harddrive. Or use the MSX4PC interface of PTC, I guess that should work too.

Or you could use an RS232-C interface from Sunrise.

uhm. not exactly. I don't wont to use an emulator Use an RS232 interface should be fine, but just for transfer when i like to use files directly on pc hard disk.
An IDE interface should work fine, again, but 1) i don't know how to build it 2) i also will need an rs232 kit to transer data on hard disk, and i haven't so much money

No one is talking about one MSX4PC by PTC is a hardware MSX which can be built into a PC (ISA card).

SCSI/IDE interfaces for MSX are for sale, you don't need to create one yourself

IDE+RS232 seems to be a good idea, but is it just for masx2+ or i can use with my old msx1?

Oh yeah, you got an MSX1.... I'm afraid it will not be possible then. Maybe you should contact Sunrise just to be sure.

The answer is YES!!!
I successfully connected my MSX to my PC using my NMS-1210 serial interface on MSX, running XMODEM TTY terminal emulator that came with it and my PC running HyperTerminal (the same that I used on Windows XP, byt now, running on Windows 7).
So I can put both to "talk" and even exchange files this way.
I also made a video to brazilian MSX community after my first test of it. (This video is in portuguese, but you can see the config screens on both plataforms.)
The cable that I used was a DB9-DB9 "partial handshake" between the PC and a DB9-DB25 converter, connected on NMS-1210 connector.

If you have any TTY terminal emulator software on ANY platform that have a RS-232 interface, and you have the correct cabling, you can connect a MSX to that... it includes Macintosh, Amiga, Apple II, TRS-80, PC, CP/M "thing", C-64...
It the other platform is a DCE (Data Communications Equipment) instead of a DTE (Data Terminal Equipment), for example, Cisco routers/swithes and MODEMS, that one does not even need a terminal emulator.
Now you can imagine the bizarre scene: carrying a MSX computer to a datacenter to configure a corporate Cisco 6509... Hahahaha!
