I have tried and seems to work fine. I have AKIN.FD1 and AKIN.FD2. I pressed RETURN on AKIN.FD1 and Multimente launched EMUFILE to generate NEXT_DSK.DAT. Then pressed RESET and typed the password ASALHA. The game asked for disk 2, so I pressed 2 and SPACE. The stage loaded correctly.
What password are you trying?

I've used the password CHAKRI, which starts on disk one. Then walking to the right the game ask's for disk two.

NEXT_DSK.dat is Nextor's disk emulation right? I'm not using that. I'm using OPFXSD to flash the disk's to the flashrom (opfxsd akin1.dsk /d1, opfxsd akin2.dsk /d2).

I have tried the old DSK emulation (/Dx option) and works fine here. I can access the "Star gate" area.
I'm using a turbo R ST

Hello I have to dump many old floppy disks, some of them with rare software.
All my 8245 have the built-in floppy drive not working.
So I'm going to buy an external floppy drive with cart.
Are there any troubles to dump floppies from ext. drive to the MFR SCC+ SD?

Why not just copy DSK images from your PC? You can use disk manager if you have a PC with a 3.5" drive

Shouldn’t be… external diskdrive is not fundamentally different from an internal one.

OK but what's the best configuration?
I need that Nextor starts and then I dump the floppy, so:
- MegaFlashROM in slot 1;
- floppy drive cart in slot 2.
Is this ok?

I cannot get this to work on my ST. Would you be willing to share your images to see if there is a difference? Or send you my images to see if you can reproduce this?

Thankyou for the reply. One more thing: do I have to use the FDSAVE to make a DSK or what other utility?
Is the COPIA720 utility better than FDSAVE? I mean... maybe to bypass some simple copy protections?
