No ... read again what msxholder has written. I had even asked for confirmation.

What must I understand with this addition on the Wiki page ?

"It is not a fuse it is a power line filterblok. When the case of a Canon V30F is opened the Vram cartridge can be removed for half the VRAM."

Does it mean that the case of the officialy released version hides a VRAM slot with its cartridge ????

Btw, It would be simpler to first give these precisions here in the forum, otherwise the path is open to misunderstandings, as it has already happened in the past.

A powerline filter blok is a wire with ceramic on it for filtering small spikes or interference. Correct about Vram cartridge it can be removed. BTW it has an 64 kb memory mapper also changed . I like to correct things even if someone else handles other priorities in how it should be done.

Where is the connector? I don't see it on the pictures.

There are two pcbs in this msx. Upper and lower. In wiki page there is upper and lower parts zoomed from that upper pcb(where i.e. cpu, ram, rom chips, keyboard connector, slot connectors are). But no pictures from that lower pcb from production version. In that lower pcb there is vdp and disk ic and rom, and rf/audiovideo block connected)

Ok, there are two circuit boards. The "main PCB (lowest part)" picture is in fact the half of the board, and the "main PCB (uppest part)" is the other half. The lower board (video board) is missing.

@gdx: I've changed the templates, it is now "Model" and "Launching price" instead of "Type" and "Original price".

Minor spelling correction: should be “Launch price”.

About the ROM dumps:
- the disk ROM is new to me. It has a string "CANONFDD".
- the main ROM is identical to the ones in many other machines, like Canon V-25, Hitachi MB-H3, National FS-4500/4600/4700, Panasonic FSA1FM/A1MK2/A1, Sanyo MPC-25FD, Sony HB-F1/F1II/F500/F5/F900/T600, Toshiba HX-23, Victor HC-80/95A, Yamaha CX7/128, YIS-604/128.
- the sub ROM as well, mostly in the same machines as the main ROM.

I tried to make an initial openMSX config for the machine. But the problem is the disk circuit. Can someone reverse engineer the disk ROM to find out how it expects the FDC to be connected to the MSX? Looks like none of the existing connection styles implemented in openMSX are compatible with it. (I either get a hang-up, no Disk BASIC or Disk I/O errors.)
