If so, run this little program I made and please tell me:
- Which Sound Cartridge do you have.
- What the program indicates.

Tested it on my setup:
- Turbo-R ST, MFR SCC+ (slot 1), OPM, OPL4, PlaySoniq (all in subslots of slot 2).

The program indicates SCC cartridge is in slot 1-@ and is than stuck at SCC+ RAM checking (second line 5 times a X).

Thank for the feedback.
The MFR SCC+ doesn't work the same as the Sound Cartridge.
I need feedbacks for the Sound Cartridge.

What do you mean by "sound cartridge"?
Is a SCC game inside this category?
Booting with my SD-Padial in slot 1, the program can detect my MegaFlashROM SCC in slot 2.
The memory check go to the end, but all sectors are marked as 'X'.

Have you configured the MFR SCC+ to Konami SCC ? MFR SCC+ can support other mappers, so if it's configured as, for example, ASCII16 mapper, it won't be recognized as SCC cartridge (not sure of what is the default configuration after reset anymore).

I mainly made this program to verify if SD Snatcher cartridge is really different from Snatcher cartridge because on pictures that I saw both look identical.

Later I will probably updated it if people are interested. I don't know how the MFR SCC+ works, but based on ToriHino's feedback, it seems there is a bug in searching secondary slots.

This means that the MFR is not configued in SCC+ mode by default or the Megaram of the sound cartridge is not implemented.

I updated the Sound Cartridge RAM tester and remamed the command to SCRT.

Now you can select yourself the slot to check. I also fixed the secondary slot number displaying.

Take a little time to try it please.

It's a bit better, it indicates now the SCC cartridge is at slot 1-1. After that i get mixed results:
- mostly it is frozen with 4 time a X at the second line
- one time when frozen, after a few seconds it started outputting garbage characters to the screen
- one time when frozen, after a few seconds it started creating some kind of white noise Tongue
- when I run it from MultiMente it works (and marks all segments as Bad segment)

Booting MFR with the S key pressed does not change anything (according the manual this is to enable SCC/SCC+), but I doubt if this does anything.

sdsnatcher73,
Wow, do you have the three original cartridges?

This is anormal. I don't understand. The test is done between 4000h and 5FFFh. Just write and read these bytes. I see nothing in my program that could cause such a crash. What is your setup and configuration? Is your MFR SCC+SD always working properly? Can someone test with their MFR SCC+SD?

I do it several years ago on my SD Snacher cartridge. The opening was very difficult without damaging it. I only broke one clip and the sticker corners is a bit damaged. I made this program to check the RAMs without having to open the cartridge.

The expected result for the original cartridges should be this:

SD Snacher:

 0123456789ABCDEF
0XXXXXXXXOOOOOOOO

Snacher:

 0123456789ABCDEF
0OOOOOOOOXXXXXXXX

and the rest of filled with X. But I don't understand why the PCBs and RAM locations are the same on the photos found.
