Hi~

I had made MMC Interface Cartridge.
Konami Nemesis3 Cartridge was used for modification Smile
I had patched DISKROM and added Flash-ROM & MMC access routines.
(total 24KB, works with SCC mapper)
It works as a external FDD.

Here're some pictures and schematic Smile

Next time, please use a 'eric and the floaters' cartridge though... It's a real shame to see an original Nemesis3 in that state... :/ On the other hand, love the switch! Tongue

Looks cool.

I still don't get though what this device is actually doing. Is it an external FDD like you wrote or can you use the memory card as a harddisk?

I think bernard it is using the memory as a harddisk.
I see the same principal as we use for the CF.
However, I would prefer -although I like this initiative- to look simply to the adaptor from the pretec company that is capable to use memorystick, mmc and sd cards in it with the same working procedure and leaves your cartridges undamaged. To look at this you can find this adaptor as piture on our website.
And you see the advantage is that you can convert from sm/memorystick etc.The other way aropund forget it.

I'll release ROM file in a few days.

ROM file is consist of patched DISKROM(16KB), Flash/MMC routines(16KB), DISK-Image(480KB). Total 512KB sized.

Drive A is mapped to MMC Disk.
Drive B is mapped to Flash-ROM Disk. (Read only, but very fast Smile
Flash-ROM Disk contains DOS2 system files, Flash downloader and MMC disk manager.

The MMC Cartridge can be used for usual Flash-SCC(512KB) Cartridge.
(eg: MetalGear2 can be downloaded.)

I didn't try patch for DOS2 kernel.
And currently, MMC disk manager can handle only multiple 2DD disks.
(FAT12/16 HDD partition may be usable in a future...or not Smile
Disk changing is possible by pressing Numeric Keypad.(0~7)
